SDC invites audit firms to propose for the financial audits of the annual financial statements of the SCOs and to annually report the audit findings and recommendations to the SDC management on a combined basis.SDC expects from the audit process for the SCOs with a single audit firm the following achievements: -- Further consolidation of the uniform and consistent audit approach -- Enhancement of management information by means of a structured and combined audit reporting -- Consistency in the judgment of the individual SCO audit results -- Increase in the quality of the internal control system (ICS) -- Factual and perceived independence of SDC from the audit firm -- Enhancement of credibility of SDC vis-a-vis the Swiss parliament and the general public The tasks and the responsibilities of the audit firm as well as the expectations of SDC are further described in detail in the available tender documentation.Awards
