Le batiment historique avec la chapelle ainsi que les composantes principales des amenagements exterieurs sont sous protection. Le projet vise a preciser le caractere du parc, former des espaces exterieurs identitaires de qualite, affirmer la position du batiment historique dans le parc et organiser le nouveau volume bati de maniere a ce qu'il s'integre harmonieusement dans le parc et en relation fonctionnelle avec le batiment historique. L'implantation du nouveau batiment scolaire vis-a-vis du batiment historique etablit une nouvelle situation de cours et cree de nouvelles situations d'acces.
