The Council is seeking to enter into a contract with a suitably qualified organisation for the provision of services to both prevent and manage excess weight in children, young people and adults throughout Bedfordshire. The services to be procured fall within Part B of Schedule 3 to the Public Contract Regulations 2006 (the "Regulations") and the Council does not intend to hold itself bound by any of the Regulations save those applicable to Part B Services. Bedford Borough Council also on behalf of Central Bedfordshire Council is seeking to enter into a contract with a suitably qualified service provider to design and deliver a service to support the prevention and management of excess weight for both children and young people aged 5-19 and adults including women who are pregnant and men, across Bedford Borough (BBC) and Central Bedfordshire (CBC). The services will form an integral part of the local excess weight care pathway, with clear referral routes between the two Tiers of the pathway commissioned by public health (Tier 1 and Tier 2) and into the Tiers commissioned by Bedfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group (Tier 3 and Tier 4)The Council reserves the right to enter into the whole or part of this contract, both in terms of the scale and scope of the contract.No business whatsoever is guaranteed under any resulting contract and there is no guarantee that any contract will be put in place in relation to this notice. Bidders shall have no claim whatsoever against the Council in respect of any costs incurred by Bidders in preparing their tender submissions (including but not limited to abortive costs incurred by unsuccessful Bidders and/or Bidders who made the decision to withdraw from the procurement, costs incurred as a result of the Council's decision to cancel the procurement). In particular (but without limitation) the Council shall not make any payments to any Bidder save as expressly provided for in any agreement, if and when any such agreement is entered into. For further information, please refer to the ITT Pack that will be issued to interested organisations. Details on the registration are provided in Section V1.3 of this Notice. The services to be procured fall within Part B of Schedule 3 to the Public Contract Regulations 2006, as amended (the "Regulations") and the Council does not intend to hold itself bound by any of the Regulations save those applicable to Part B Services. It is anticipated that the Contract will be awarded in at the end of May 2015 and the Contract Commencement Date will be 1.9.2015.The Contract will run for a period of three years and seven months from 1.9.2015 with an option to extend for any period or periods of up to two (2) years in six (6) or twelve (12) month blocks, such extension to be exercised by agreement between the Council and the Contractor.Adjudicaciones
