All tender information MUST be submitted through the CCS eSourcing Portal. 12 surface drifters (floating buoys) with salinity will be deployed at four times in the year (3 in September 2019, 3 in December 2019, 3 in March 2020, 3 in June 2020) to track the ocean surface currents using the GPS position of the buoy, and to measure ocean surface properties (temperature and salinity) and surface meteorological conditions (barometric pressure). These will be used to complement drifter trajectories (GPS tracks) not equipped with salinity and temperature sensors, to be purchased in a separate order. Please ensure you review all attached information to ensure a full understanding of this requirement. All attachments can be found with the RFx attachments tab within the Emptoris System. This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria set out in the ITQ document.
