These essential services are required to maintain the Council's portfolio of administrative and public buildings in a statutorily compliant condition and to maintain a good quality of environment for staff and service users alike.A single provider will deliver all services which are currently delivered under separate measured term contracts held with two incumbent contractors and a number of other contracts with specialists.The Council's requires:-- Statutory testing and inspection of the Council's installations;-- Emergency and reactive response to the entire corporate estate circa 389 sites;-- Planned and preventative works;-- Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) platform to automate contractor/client interface currently handled by the Council's in-house Help Desk; and;-- Centralised billing, processing and monitoring of the contractor's work.The contract will commence on 1.4.2015 for a duration of 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years (1 + 1).Awards
