Confirmation of the approved option shall be subject to a statutory consultation which is anticipated to be completed in Summer 2012. The proposed contract is for a school that has a pupil roll of approximately 1 150 and includes external / integrated sporting facilities where possible.The team appointed under this contract will comprise the core disciplines of architect, structural/civil engineering services, landscape architects/public realm designers and M&E services engineer (including sustainability, BREEAM and EPC specialists) and. The team will liaise with the client team and other directly appointed specialist consultants to ensure the project is delivered in accordance with the project objectives. The multi-discipline design team may be novated to a private sector development partner at a stage yet to be defined.This project will be tendered as separate lots for each option and confirmation of the preferred option and/or lot will be finalised once the statutory consultation has been completed and a decision has been made. Please note that the Council is under no obligation to accept either lot 1 (new build) or lot 2 (refurbishment) and there will be no right to recover costs or expenses incurred by applicants in the preparation of their responses and for participation in any successive stages of this procurement, whether a contract is awarded or not.Adjudicaciones
