Peterborough City Council (PCC) invites expressions of interest from suitably experienced organisations who can demonstrate knowledge, skill and innovation in the provision and installation of Bus Shelters and/or cleaning and maintenance of bus shelters. Tenderers should be aware that the volume of work on this contract may increase or decrease dependent on the need for replacement/new bus shelters, the cleaning and maintenance of bus shelters and the funding available during the contract period. The contract shall be for a duration of 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 year period, subject to PCC's discretion and ongoing satisfactory performance. PCC will hold a bidders day on 19.1.2012 to provide potential providers an opportunity to view the Council's database detailing the various types of bus shelters and their locations within the Peterborough urban and rural areas. The ITT will provide details of the location. Please note this is the only date PCC will be holding a bidders day.PCC believes that the Transfer of Undertaking (Protection of Employment) (TUPE) Regulations 2006 will not apply to this tender.Should you wish to express your interest in this requirement please complete the invitation to tender (ITT).
