The School is not bound to shortlist any Candidate that submits a completed PQQ and reserves the right to abandon processes at any time at no cost to the School. The School reserves the right to reject or disqualify a Candidate at any stage of this procurement process where there is a change in identity, control, financial standing or other factor impacting on the selection and/or evaluation process affecting the Candidate. 10:55 till 11:15 -- Morning Break: Offering a range of hot and cold snacks and hand held food choices. Typical daily choices include; pizza, bacon bagels, bacon half baguettes, a selection of paninis, bought in sandwiches and filled baguettes, pasta pots, a selection of cakes, cookies and flapjacks and a variety of soft drinks. Fresh fruit salad tubs are also available at each counter. Service is provided from 3 kitchen hatches (2 offering the hot choices and 1 the chilled sandwiches etc.). The catering assistants pass students their food choice. There is currently no self-help option. A posiflex cashless system is in use. Money is either loaded through the internet on parent pay otherwise cash is loaded through 2 money loaders which are positioned in the dining room. 13:20 till 13:55 Lunch Service: Offering a choice of hot main courses and snacks including vegetarian options. There is a self-help salad and fruit bar. A selection of sandwiches and filled baguettes are also available plus a wide variety of cakes, cookies and flapjacks. A hot dessert of the day plus fresh fruit salad pots are also on offer. The school is interested in possibly introducing a breakfast service (this would need to be in the external building if it was made suitable as a food outlet). They are also interested in the option of an all-day coffee shop service being introduced in the main dining room for 6th form students and staff and as mentioned above, they would appreciate the views of catering companies with regard to the possible external service. The kitchen is well equipped and suitable for an extensive fresh food service. However, the food delivery system is in need of investment.Awards
