The Chamber provides first-class business support to companies of all shapes and sizes through a range of membership services and networking opportunities, specifically tailored to meet the needs of individual businesses. Frameworks developed by the Chamber will be used by both public and private sector organisations.Chamber members have asked for assistance in getting the most out of their supply chain, something that is more important than ever in the current economic climate. In order to assist members Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce have developed Chamber Plus. This service brings members significant cost savings on their business costs through best practice procurement processes and supply chain expertise.Since the creation of Chamber Plus they have delivered tangible savings for a number of members. The success to date has led Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce to develop Chamber Plus e-Procurement; this is an electronic trading platform through which all members can purchase products and services at agreed rates. The development of Chamber Plus e-Procurement is the most significant standalone investment that Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce has made and this demonstrates the organisations commitment to this project and the importance of achieving competitive deals for members.
