The Medical and General Supplies Project Team (M&GS PT) is part of the Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) Organisation and its role is to provide medical equipment and associated support to the UK Armed Forces. M&GS PT has a possible future one-off requirement for the Supply of Protective Cases for Analgesic Auto-Injectors. The containers are to be manufactured from polypropylene food grade plastic or similar, robust enough to protect the contents from environmental contamination (wet or dry) and capable of surviving rough handling. A Full Item specification and details of quantities will be issued with the Invitation to Tender. period of Contract: Supply only - elivery will be required by no later than 16/09/2011. Financial ability: The Applicant's financial ability to meet this requriement will be assessed on a risk basis and the Applicant's financial accounts will be evaluated by the Authority. Applicants who present an unnacceptable risk to the Authority will not qualify. Transparency, Freedom of Information and Environmental Information Requlations: Applicants should be aware that, should they be awarded the Contract, the content of the Contract will be published by the MoD to the general public in line with governemnt policy set out in the Prime Minister's letter of May 2010 (http://www.number10.gov.uk/news/statement-and-articles/2010/05/letter-to-governement-departments-on-opening-up-data-512044). Suppliers expressing an interest in this requirement are required to: Provide a copy of current BS EN ISO 9001:2000 accreditation certificate. Note that the Authority may use this information to down-select a Tender Panel for the requirement; therefore suppliers may not be considered for this requirement where they do not provide the information requested.Adjudicaciones
