The estimated contract value is ?36,000 and the contract period will be for 2 years starting 17th April 2023 to 31st July 2025. However, this information is only intended to assist with the preparation of your bid. (The Council does not bind itself to this or any other figure, nor is it a guarantee of business which may be generated from this contract.) o Post Service Audits will be undertaken as required, encompassing post inspections within 4 weeks of the annual inspection being completed, involving a full strip down of the serviceable appliances (SMBC service tenants appliances connected to a flue) and a visual inspection of flueless appliances owned by the tenant. o As well as annual inspections and as part of our on-going maintenance, Sandwell MBC carry out a significant number of boiler replacements per year. Post inspection audits may also be required on new installations to make sure that they are compliant with the current gas regulations, building regulations inc. boiler plus and any specific SMBC's specification requested. The audits will need to be carried out by a suitably qualified officer, who in addition to the ACS (CCN1 (CPA1), CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1, DAH1), must hold a suitable assessor/auditor's qualification - (A1, A2 (D32, D33) or similar (e.g. TAQA) and have at least 7 years' experience in the gas industry. Included in the price for both types of audit, will be an assessment of all completed paperwork (LGSR (for compliance with the 9 points in 36. 3 C of the GSIUR98) for service & Completion certificate and benchmark for installations) with omissions and discrepancies highlighted, a record and report of each inspection will be required. On occasions you may be asked to carry out a work in progress inspection on either the in-house team or contractor to assess that their procedures are adequate regarding gas safety and that there are no health and safety issues such as failing to use PPE etc.
