Please do not respond to this notice.To provide pre-production, filming, scripting, and post production services for corporate video production on tape and online to a HD standard. Filming of live events, re-editing of existing projects.The following formats are acceptable HDCAM, XDCAM HD and DVC PRO HD. Following consultation with BBC Scotland we cannot accept HDV as a HD format.Scottish Enterprise requires suppliers with a proven track record in the broadcast and corporate sector capable of flexible working with cutting edge creativity in their work. Suppliers must have experience of broadcast and or video production for similar organisations. This must be demonstrated within the pre-qualification questionnaire.Scottish Enterprise uses many forms of communication with its customers; a key medium of communication is through digital and video media. Scottish Enterprise uses digital media to demonstrate and inform customers, stakeholders and the media of key projects and milestones. The subject matter can be as diverse as high growth business start-ups, industry projects, to the operations of our United States offices. As a result of our interaction with the media a high definition (HD) product is required:-- Service schedule,-- Objectives,-- To deliver a digital and video media production service for Scottish Enterprise that:---- Adheres to SE's brand,---- Employs the latest production equipment, techniques and styles,---- Demonstrates sound project management, including subcontractors,---- Delivers projects on time, and to the brief,---- Makes time for bi-annual client liaison and deals with requests efficiently,---- Can offer support, ideas and guidance to SE staff,---- Is cost-effective and gives the best value for money for the stated budget.Core services:Digital & video media production.Various types of production are undertaken by SE each year. This can range from the provision of a Director and camera crew or an editor with a non linear edit suite for a day through to large scale productions including DVD duplication and upload to channels such as You Tube. The production company should be able to identify and secure scriptwriters, presenters and music licences as part of the production process where required.Other services required:During some productions other services such as Autocue or "webcasting" (pictures and sound streamed over the Internet) of live events may be required; production companies would be expected to source equipment and operators. We would also expect the safe, secure storage of camera and master tapes of productions made on our behalf.Ad-hoc productions:From time to time Scottish Enterprise requires certain one-off events to be recorded for possible later use. An example of this would be filming the ground breaking ceremony at Edinburgh BioQuarter. We will also require the re-editing or updating of older projects on occasion.It is envisaged that the framework will have between 3 and 5 suppliers and will run for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further year, commencing in September 2011. The framework will operate within Scotland but there may be an occasional requirement elsewhere in the United Kingdom.Adjudicaciones
