The Service will be utilised as and when required, on a call-off basis by ORE Catapult in Glasgow and Blyth. The ORE Catapult will be involved in a range of highly technical and geographically diverse projects and programmes which will generate substantial information and data. As such, it is vital that it has appropriate and fit for purpose application development services to support the delivery and management of projects, and which are capable of supporting growth in the business. All ORE Catapult systems currently reside on MicroSoft SQL server platform with MicroSoft.net-based front-end applications and any subsequent solutions shall need to be compatible with this current set-up. The tender process seeks to establish a framework for the delivery and support of information systems to support ORE Catapult internal and external stakeholders. The process may appoint a number of Contractor/s with the necessary breadth and depth of skills and experience to successfully deliver our Information Systems and Knowledge Management agenda. The duration of this Information Service Framework will be for a period of 2 years with the option to extend the duration for up to a further 24 months, at the sole discretion of the ORE Catapult and subject to satisfactory performance of the Contractor/s. The Service is divided into Lots.
