This matrix model will provide a focus on customers and processes coupled with clear accountability and a line of sight into Engineering for its primary stakeholders. Engineering will be able to develop processes and talent around the asset life cycle and interface with its customers whilst having the flexibility to change and grow to reflect fluctuating demands and requirements. This proposed model will mean a significant shift from the current way that Engineering operates and interacts both internally with stakeholders as well as externally with the supply chain much earlier in the project life-cycle. On a day-to-day basis, Engineering will form Project Teams that are aligned with their customer groups and provide engineering input across the life cycle of the project either the full lifetime of a project or just a part of it. Engineering's effort will be more focused on the high-value Strategy, Needs and Outcome definition phases of the project, with the supply chain involved early to complete design and build, drive innovation, and provide Totex solutions. Engineering will assure the overall process delivers the desired technical outcomes through to Handover and Optimisation, getting much closer to the operation of the assets. The shift in Engineering's focus will mean reduced effort in the definition phase of a project with the vast majority of projects handed over to our Design and Build partners for them to identify solutions, design and construct. The AMP6 Engineering Consultancy Services will work within all areas of the UUW business, including but not limited to Capital Delivery, Wholesale, Strategic Projects and Retail. AMP6 Partners will be required to provide expertise, guidance, support and resources for all aspects of the engineering service this will include but not be limited to: Needs definition Solution identification Requirements specification Root cause analysis Asset optimisation Data gathering, interpretation and communication Data analytics Outline design Project and Programme management R&D Innovation Business planning Network modelling and model maintenance The specific engineering services requirements in a call-off will be driven by the particular needs of each project. It is intended that the service providers engaged on projects may form part of the project team and work as part of UU Engineering as well as provide services through a more traditional consultancy model. To cover these requirements the Company is seeking to award a Framework or Frameworks (up to a maximum of three) that provide the most economic advantageous proposals to the Company. Partial bids will not be considered in connection with this project. Applicants may wish to consider the formation of a Consortium or JV and in this case a condition of the prequalification process is that all members shall have Joint and Several Liability.Adjudicações
