The Streetly Academy, Queslett Road East, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands B74 2EX. In 2012, The Streetly Academy achieved a 2nd consecutive year of outstanding results, breaking all historical records with 76.4 % of our students achieving 5 A*-C including Maths and English. Perhaps more impressive was the fact that almost half of our students achieved 3 or more A or A* grades, and a quarter achieved 5 or more A or A* grades. These statistics placed the school in the top 10 % of schools nationally on the 5 A*-C including Maths and English measure, and in the top 6 % for Value Added. This meant that our students made significantly better progress than similar students nationally. There are 2 things that drive staff and students at The Streetly Academy, Values and Achievement. The Academy has adopted the Olympic Values that sit at the very centre of everything they do: Personal Excellence, Respect and Friendship, Inspiration, Determination and Courage, Equality. (PRIDE) are values that are universally shared, and help our students maximise their achievement. The Academy currently employs Walsall Local Authority to manage their Cleaning service. The Academy is placing their Cleaning services to competitive tender and are inviting professional Cleaning organisations to bid for the contract with the intention of awarding the contract following due process by Monday 23.2.2015. The Academy is not bound to shortlist any Candidate that submits a completed PQQ and reserves the right to abandon processes at any time at no cost to the School. The Academy reserves the right to reject or disqualify a Candidate at any stage of this procurement process where there is a change in identity, control, financial standing or other factor impacting on the selection and/or evaluation process affecting the Candidate.
