Checking that each climber is adequately supported by the cable grid and tie in all new growth to encourage as dense a foliage mass, and as great a coverage of the mesh as possible and re-adjusting cables where necessary. Inspection of plants at every visit for any signs of pests and disease and carry out the appropriate treatment in the event of any infestation or infection and pruning to encourage flowering in Wisteria and Clematis if necessary. Monitoring containers and plant beds, removing all rubbish, litter and weed growth by hand weeding and ensure that mulches are complete and effective, topping up with new material or replacing mulch as necessary and appropriate. Monitoring the soil nutrient condition by annual analysis and supply any recommended fertilizer of the type and at the time and at the rates recommended, providing a report of the analysis and recommendation to the client. Maintenance of Irrigation System. The success and continued healthy growth of the planting associated with the BFI IMAX is largely dependent upon the efficient operation of the irrigation system.
