The provision of street lighting may form part of the work in some work packages other than those covered by lots specifically provided for street lighting works. The provision of traffic signals may form part of the work in some work packages.The framework agreement is for an initial period of three years and is expected to commence on 1.4.2013 with an end date of 31.3.2016. The Authority reserves the right to extend the framework agreement by a further year. The framework agreement will not extend beyond 31.3.2017 or four years after the start date, whichever is the later.The framework agreement will operate under the NEC3 framework contract conditions of contract. All work packages will be carried out under the NEC3 engineering and construction contract options A, B, E or the NEC3 Engineering and Construction Short Contract conditions of contract.There is no guarantee of work being awarded to all participating Suppliers.
