The Housing and Neighbourhoods service is responsible for the provision of mechanical and electrical servicing,inspections, day to day repairs, and maintenance of equipment, appliances and plant to the Council's housingstock of over 22 000 homes including more than 3 000 leaseholders. It is the intention of the Housing and Neighbourhoods service to split the work into a series of lots via a singletender action producing a term contractor for the services mentioned above namely: i. Gas servicing and breakdown; ii. Lift servicing and breakdown; iii. Water management sampling & surveys; iv. General and electrical & mechanical installations; v. Niceic cyclical electrical inspections of domestic and communal installations; vi. Domestic chair and stairlift servicing, repair and maintenance.Awards
