NMAS requires the proposed system to integrate the retail EPOS till functions with ticket sales and membership functions and must: (a) Issue entry tickets for a variety of different events and price bands across all NMAS sites and study centre including school and group bookings; (b) Take a variety of payment types from customers; (c) Provide a cost effective printing solution that generates a unique receipt and ticket; (d) Issue memberships at till points and on line; (e) Track and support room hire and resource allocation for between 1 to 10 rooms per site; (f) Sell retail goods in museum shops and food and drink in museums as appropriate; (g) Provide an electronic point of sale (EPOS) for its retail and cafe transactions; (h) Provide an electronic stock management system for its retail and catering operations; (i) Provide access to a full audit trail of transactions; (j) Provide access to a wide range of reports in order to effectively manage the service.
