The development is predominately single storey and houses a new multi-use performance space, foyer and cafe. The glazed connection to Square Chapel is two storeys high. This provides space for the foyer, toilets and a new lift. The project comprises extension and refurbishment of the existing building accommodating a second 100 seat auditorium and a cafe/bar. Planning permission and Listed Building Consent was obtained in July 2009 and the project is at RIBA Stage D. The value of the contract is estimated to be in the order of 3 700 000 GBP.
