Our intention is to award this Framework Contract for a period of 4 years. Lot 1: Dumfries (West) -- New forest roads, forest road upgrades, forest road maintenance, harvest facilities plus recreation facilities and maintenance. 3 000 000 GBP. Lot 2: Borders (East) -- New forest roads, forest road upgrades, forest road maintenance, harvest facilities plus recreation facilities and maintenance. 2 000 000 GBP. Lot 3: Dumfries (West) -- Hired machinery 1 000 000 GBP. Lot 4: Borders (East) -- Hired machinery 1 000 000 GBP. Suppliers are free to apply for one or all lots. Bidders are required to attend a mandatory Bidder Briefing Day to help them understand more about the requirements of this Framework Contract. It should be noted that the nature of the Works is unpredictable, fragmented and will be spread throughout the Dumfries and Borders Area.
