Established in 1969, the organisation has grown into a successful provider of housing and associated services, and now manages over 95 000 units of accommodation throughout England and Scotland, including general rented, sheltered, supported accommodation, student and key worker accommodation and care homes.Sanctuary is seeking expressions of interest from experienced suppliers for the undertaking of this exciting opportunity for our reinvestment and capital works framework consisting of (e.g. supply & installation of doors/windows, installation of kitchen and bathrooms, roofing, drainage, foundations, minor painting, heating, electrical, ground works, fencing, brickwork, masonry, carpentry, plasterwork, wall and floor tiling, cleaning & clearance, glazing, plumbing and specialist treatment), On a regional and national basis.Suppliers shall have the opportunity to submit Tenders based your organisations area of expertise. This tender offers Suppliers the opportunity to shape a flexible, cost-effective, efficient service, whilst offering the opportunity to grow and develop as a Supplier to Sanctuary. Suppliers shall be required to offer a customer focused service, with a commitment to providing both an efficient, innovative and cost effective reinvestment and capital works service solution that provides demonstrable Value for Money throughout the life of the Contract.Sanctuary reserves the right to withdraw from the Procurement Process at any time, without any costs to Sanctuary, and without awarding any contracts. Suppliers are to be responsible for any costs and expenses which may be incurred as a result of participating in this Procurement Process. Interested Suppliers shall be able to demonstrate the relevant knowledge and particular skills required to deliver the service / services described.NOTE: - The volume of works generated under this framework cannot be guaranteed due to the varying nature of the portfolio of properties managed by Sanctuary and Suppliers also need to be aware that Sanctuary has its own internal maintenance and planned works teams that operate nationally and with regards to a number of the works elements previously specified that they will pick up a percentage and external suppliers will pick up a percentage of our work .Key elements of this framework are as follows:1) Suppliers can express an interest in either National supply or for specific regions and for all or one/multiple disciplines. All suppliers must have the skills, experience to meet the requirements, potentially tight deadlines and restrictions at varied locations.2) Accomplish Value for Money, with consistent price commitment offering improved service. Suppliers will be expected to make the process as cost effective as possible, driving out unnecessary costs from the process.3) It is expected that the prices be fixed for a period of 2 years, and thereafter reviewed in line with CPI.4) Suppliers will be pricing against NHF v6.1 documents for reinvestment and capital works.5) A key element of this framework is the opportunities for Employment and Training. Sanctuary aims to deliver a range of projects and initiatives that shall assist in improving both skills and quality of life by providing employment and enterprise opportunities, all of which encourage independence and lead to thriving communities. As such, part of the Tender processrequires the Supplier(s) to evidence their experience in this area, and to illustrate how that experience can be built upon to offer the opportunities which Sanctuary anticipates shall be created.6) Suppliers must adhere to Sanctuary's Equality and Diversity policy, and that all suppliers have an environmental policy in place, in line with Sanctuary's aim to think sustainably and to limit our impact on the environment.
