The Secretary of State for Transport published on 20.12.2010, the Government's proposed line of route between London and the West Midlands for consultation. A public consultation on the proposals was undertaken between February and July 2011. The Secretary of State has decided to move forward with the project the next stage introducing a hybrid Bill into Parliament by October 2013 and seek to obtain Royal Assent by 2015. This framework agreement is for the professional services which will be required to develop the design of the HS2 project as it moves forward to the next stage for phase 1 of the project London to West Midlands, and the associated technical services, environmental assessments and land referencing needed for the purposes of the parliamentary procedures. The framework agreement is split into the following lots: -- Lot 1 - civil engineering and structural design services, -- Lot 2 - railway systems design services, -- Lot 3 - environmental services, -- Lot 4 - land referencing services.Awards
