The University is seeking to provide a high quality, flexible, catering and hospitality service which ensures value for money to students and staff at the University via a competitive response to this tender opportunity. We expect proposals to be based on a sustainable business model on a non-subsidised profit share basis which includes capital investment in the facilities and supports the varied objectives of the University. A tender exercise was carried out in 2010, however the evaluation panel was unable to make a recommendation to award which would meet the longer term needs of the students and staff and the existing contract had to be extended for one additional year as the University had a continuing requirement to deliver catering services to our customers.
