Services would initially be delivered in the Great Britain and Europe market, with the potential for additional services to be delivered within the wider region. Under the scope of this contract the appointed Contractor will be expected to: (i) Maintain and develop Invest NI's inward investment activity in Great Britain and Continental Europe in the key target sectors of Financial Services, Business Services and ICT / software through the identification and cultivation of leads. (ii) Liaise with Invest NI's Authorised Representative in the management of the contract. It is envisaged that this function would be completed by one of the Business Development Directors or Trade Development Executives, in addition to carrying their own target (i.e. in a Senior Business Development Director role) (iii) Develop opportunities for Northern Ireland companies operating in the Construction and Renewables sectors and who wish to increase export sales in Great Britain and Continental Europe. It is expected that the Contractor will also develop FDI opportunities in the Renewables sector that will contribute to the FDI outputs stated at section 4.2 of the Specification Schedule. Provide support to the Invest NI Trade team's programmes in the Construction and Renewables sectors (v) Manage Invest NI's broader representational activities in Great Britain and Continental Europe through its London and Brussels offices, supported by the Invest NI London Office Manager. This includes the co-ordination of visits to these regions by Invest NI personnel, senior Northern Ireland officials and Government Ministers, including the preparation of itineraries and briefing material in advance of such visits (vi) Provide support to the management of events (corporate hospitality, roundtable dinners, other client engagement etc.), particularly in London, through completion of business cases and liaising with suppliers while ensuring compliance with Invest NI's procurement process and other governance requirements. The service provider will be responsible for managing a budget allocation of approximately PS400k per annum, identifying and booking suitable events, liaising with suppliers about logistics and liaising with Invest NI staff on supplier payments (vii) Promote the establishment of contacts with key personnel in organizations such as banks, universities, Chambers of Commerce, Government Agencies and members of the Diaspora, and the encouragement of such individuals and organisations to use their influence to promote the business opportunities available in Northern Ireland. The number of face to face influencer meetings is not expected to exceed 150 per annum (viii) Management of budget for expenditure on activities which support the sales process, including event management (corporate hospitality, roundtable dinners, other client engagement etc.) (ix) Update Invest NI's Customer Relationship Management system with contact details (of potential investors, influencers, trade contacts etc.), meeting records and details of opportunities.Adjudicaciones
