The provision of vehicle immobilisation, removal, storage, disposal and enforcement notice issuing services for Vehicle Excise Duty (VED) evasion within the UK and Continuous Insurance (CI) evasion within GB, including; -- the use of appropriate technology to locate non-compliant vehicles, -- the issuing of enforcement notifications, the immobilisation and / or removal and impounding of vehicles where appropriate, -- the secure storage of impounded vehicles at locations across the UK, -- the release of impounded vehicles following acceptance of payment and evidence of compliance, -- the disposal of unclaimed vehicles where appropriate, -- the management and day-to-day deployment of vehicle recovery operators, -- the operational management of vehicle enforcement notification issuing, immobilisation, removal, storage and disposal, -- the provision of sufficient and scalable storage for impounded vehicles, -- the provision of comprehensive ICT systems in support of the contract, including timely and accurate management information, with full support and maintenance, -- setting, monitoring and maintaining of high quality standards in respect of services, - managing payment, fees and appropriate charges for the general public, -- timely and appropriate management of customer services, correspondence and complaints, The contractor will be responsible for providing these services through the provision and deployment of appropriate equipment, resources and technology.
