The contract is split four ways to account for the geographical nature of the areas covered. The four areas are North West (Gwynedd, Ynys Mon), North Central (Conwy and Denbighshire), North East (Flintshire and Wrexham) and Gwent. Bidders were free to decide which areas to submit for and were not penalised should they only submit for a selection of areas. The contract is to assist the Health Boards in achieving the Welsh Governement's ambitious recycling targets.Awards
