A further two or more providers may be given framework award status, in the event that GMP requires future competition for new installations with Lot 1.The contract shall cover all major mechanical assets such as boilers, air handling plant, chillers, air conditioning units etc. Due to the nature of the operation of many of the buildings to be covered, it is essential that a rapid response can be achieved from nominated dedicated engineers throughout the Greater Manchester area and that the daily management of the electronic recording and transfer of information from site visits is properly adhered to.An essential element of the contract is for the successful company's to provide a guaranteed 24-hour/7 day per week/365 days per year call out response so as to arrive at any site within the GMP estate within 1 hour of notification.The estimated value of expenditure for GMP is GBP 1 200 000 per annum, however a further total of GBP 5000 000 over the contract duration will be reserved for GMP, from a total framework value of GBP 35 000 000, in the event of capital projects being approved or replacement installations - although currently there are no planned proposals for such.The maximum framework / contract value including all extensions will be GBP 35 000 000 (of which GPB 10 000 000 is reserved for GMP) to allow for the regional police forces to participate should they so desire. Should the allocated regional expenditure not reach GBP 25 000 000, or GMP have any exceptional unplanned projects materialise, then GMP reserve the right to utilise any residue from the GBP 25 000 000, or lower the regional cap and increase their own expenditure to above the reserved GBP1000000, however the maximum expenditure would not be expected to exceed the GBP 35 000 000 limit.No values or volumes will be guaranteed under any resulting framework / contract awards.Economic operators should note that the Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment Rights may apply. Details, if appropriate, will be provided within the Invitation to Tender.The framework is proposed to run for two years, with options to extend for up to a further 2 yearsAdjudicações
