Project Description The Kimmerfields site clearance works are the first stage of the redevelopment of the Kimmerfields development, a major redevelopment which will provide mixed-use development including offices, residential, shops, restaurants & cafes, drinking establishments, public realm and associated highways works when complete. This tender is to procure a Contractor to carry out the site clearance works including the removal of existing concrete slabs and foundations and the removal of redundant utilities. The improvements to Kimmerfields will help achieve the Council's priority to: improve infrastructure and housing to support a growing, low-carbon economy, offer that lead to the right jobs in the right places. It is proposed that works are to commence onsite in March 2021 The estimated cost of these works is PS1.2m Full details relating to the Works are provided in the tender documents. To participate, Suppliers will need to Register as a Supplier with ProContract, www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk, then Register an Interest before obtaining access to the tender documents. In the event of difficulties registering as a supplier, please refer to the System Administrator Proactis support team ProContractSuppliers@proactis.com Contract Period The contract will be approximately for a period of 6 months commencing 1st March 2021 with the options to extend as per the contract terms and conditions. Tender Responses Tender Responses are required to be submitted no later than 11th January 2021, 1400 hrs UK Local time via ProContract tender portal - https://www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk/ Tender Clarifications If you require any clarifications on the tender documents, please submit these in writing via Messaging in ProContract tender portal by 23rd December 2021, 1200 hrs UK Local time. The Council's responses to these clarification questions will be uploaded periodically on the ProContract tender portal.
