These containers support the transport of MoD freight worldwide. Tenderers were asked to submit tenders for a variety of lease lengths eg. short, long and flexible as our requirement is fluid and can be erratic due to the nature of the business. The ability to 'surge' in the quantities is essential. For Lot 1 - Tenders were required for a daily or hourly rate for each of the required services - Survey, Inspection and Repair (firm prices were required for all elements - including a range of repairs with/without parts were required at tender stage). For Lot 2 - Lease, Lease/Purchase and Purchase for Flexible lease lengths without any penalties. The companies are required to hold or obtain ISO 9000:2008 accreditation (UKAS awarded) or equivalent ; with appropriate scope applicable to the work being undertaken.Awards
