As a result, NCC has carried out a tender process for a framework agreement for the provision of Family Learning activities covering the following Lots: -- Wider Family Learning: Health and Well-Being (Lot 1); Sustainable Developments (Lot 2); Arts and Culture (Lot 3); Community Cohesion (Lot 4); Early Intervention (Lot 5); -- Family English, Language, and Maths (Lot 6). Programmes offered are expected to include a range of taster/workshop sessions (2-5 hours), short courses (10-19 hours) and long courses (20 hours, with accreditation) aimed at either adult learners or adults and children learning together. Providers must be available to deliver programmes City-wide, however requirements will be targeted towards schools in high priority areas as identified using the IDACI (Income Deprivation Affecting Children Index). The framework will be for an initial period of 1 year, with the option to extend for up to a further 3 years at NCC's sole discretion and subject to future funding for these activities.Awards
