The CCG is seeking to achieve this through the award of an APMS contract to NHS Solent Trust, for the provision of general medical services. This will enable access to GP services for homeless people, promote the health of homeless people, reduce inequalities and develop links with other providers of services to better meet the needs of the homeless population locally. The scope of the service includes the core and enhanced general medical services requirements of the NHS APMS standard contract plus has additional expectations to support the full delivery of the benefits listed above. The contract will run from 1.4.2020-30.9.2024 (4,5 years).
