The contracting authority is relying on Regulation 72 (1) (c) (i) The need for modification has been brought about by circumstances which the contracting authority could not have foreseen such as the severe financial constraints facing the contracting authority and the unprecedented reduction in resources through a Voluntary Exit Scheme; (ii) The modification does not alter the overall nature of the contract as the contract will continue to perform the services described in the original contract notice and procurement documents; (iii) The increase in price is estimated at 20 per cent of the original contract price.Awards
