Hauptfunktion der neuen Abstellanlage, die im Eigentum der OBB-Infrastruktur AG errichtet und von der OBB-Produktion GmbH diskriminierungsfrei betrieben wird, ist das Abstellen, die Ver- und Entsorgung sowie das Reinigen der neuen Doppelstockelektrotriebwagen (DINOGarnituren). Das Betriebskonzept sieht vor, dass die DINO-Garnituren vom Bahnhof Floridsdorf uber die Ver- und Entsorgungsanlagen in Richtung der Abstellanlage im Rahmen von Verschubfahrten abgewickelt werden. Die Bereitstellung von Garnituren erfolgt gegenlaufig. Die Ausschreibung umfasst folgende Massnahmen im Bereich der Abstellgruppe des Bahnhof Floridsdorf: Bauaufsichtsleistungen fur die Gewerke Heizung-, Klima-, Luftung- und Sanitaranlagen fur das Betriebsgebaude sowie die gesamten MSR-Anlagen.
