Um ein Weiterschreiten dieser Rutschung zu verhindern, ist unterhalb der Felsvernetzung eine zusatzliche Vernetzung, im Ausmass von ca. 20 m x 20 m, zu errichten. Da im Oberhang Baume, Straucher und Vegetationsschichten nicht mehr vorhanden sind und Felsbereiche durch die hohen Temperatur Einwirkungen und das Loschwasser instabil geworden sind, muss sudlich der bestehenden Steinschlagschutznetze ein zusatzliches etwa 50 m langes Schutznetz (500 kJ) errichtet werden um die Bahnstrecke vor herabsturzenden Felsblocken und Steinen zu schutzen.
