Momenteel worden GAS 123 toegepast in Brugge. In 2022 waren er 760 dossiers. In 2023 zijn er 1.162 dossiers behandeld. Het is de bedoeling om in de eerste helft van 2024 ook GAS 4 toe te passen, specifiek de in-breuken inzake het verkeersbord C3 (verkeersvrije en autoluwe zone) vastgesteld door ANPR-camera's. De procedure voor het opleggen van een gemeentelijke administratieve sanctie is geregeld in de GAS-wet van 24 juni 2013 (op datum van 02/02/2024). De stad Brugge wenst voor alle GAS-inbreuken gebruik te maken van een softwarepakket waar-in de dossiers op een gebruiksvriendelijke manier worden afgehandeld. Deze opdracht omvat ook: * het digitaal ondertekenen van de documenten door de vaststellers en sanctionerende ambtenaren; * de mogelijkheid om vlot data/statistieken/rapporten op te vragen; * vlot nieuwe regelgeving, die van GAS gebruik maakt, te integreren; * connectie met E-box of mail (indien gekend); * mogelijkheid tot het verzenden van de briefwisseling met een externe partner.
