The arena will meet a strong local and regional need for entertainment, cultural and sport event venues. The arena will act as a key driver of economic growth and development. Copenhagen Arena will form an important part of the image of Copenhagen, contributing to the life of the city, its people and visitors well into the future. Copenhagen Arena will be marketed nationally and internationally and be of high quality, when measured against similar venues worldwide. Thus, the arena will be able to attract the best artists and events from around the world. The arena will have a capacity of around 15,000 spectators and will include 1,000 premium lounge seats plus approx. 18 suites with a capacity of 12-15 persons each. Expected floor space 33,000 square meters (m2). The total capital expenditure for the arena is budgeted at approx. 700,000,000 DKK. Live Nation has entered into an agreement with Arena CPHX P/S to lease the arena for 30 years on its completion at the end of 2015. The arena is located in Orestad South, a new district between the airport and the city centre, with the arena acting as a catalyst for investment in the planned developments that will surround it. 3XN, and their team of sub-consultants (HKS Architects, ME Engineers and Planit-ie) have been chosen as the winner of the design competition and have been appointed for full services. Thus, the design team are to complete the design of the arena and complete the main project in close cooperation with Arena CPHX P/S and Live Nation. Arena CPHX P/S will be responsible for construction management, construction process management and coordination between the contracts. Prequalification will be held digitally via the internet portal Docia Tender. Consequently, the request for prequalification and participation can be made exclusively via Docia Tender, cf. item VI.3. This contract - procurement package 22 - is one out of a number of contracts, which will be put out to tender as general and/or sub contracts for the completion of the arena. This contract concerns delivery and instaltion of all seatings for the arena. It is possible to become prequalified to submit a bid and to be awarded more than one contract.Awards
