An important part of these arrangements is the ability to quickly assess possible radiological emergency or emergency threat situations and advise other European Commission services on their seriousness, possible future development and any possible European Union action required.ENER D.4 Unit is strengthening its expertise in the field of radiological emergency management in the Commission. ENER D.4 has published this call for tender in order to make additional support resources available to the ENER D.4 emergency team during emergency situations. The Unit would like to establish a strong support link between the ENER D.4 emergency team and a leading radiological emergency preparedness organisation, 'the contractor'.
