Tuotteet tulevat Ylen nykyisten yllapitosopimusten piiriin, ja selvyyden vuoksi todetaan, etta hankintaan ei siten sisally asennuspalveluita.Riedel Intercom -komentojarjestelmaa kaytetaan laajasti Ylen studioissa ja ulkotuotantoautoissa, joihin liittyen on tulossa uusintaprojekteja. Koska tuotteet tulevat osaksi olemassa olevia komentojarjestelmia, tulee tuotteiden integroitua saumattomasti konfiguroinniltaan, ohjauksiltaan ja labeleiltaan olemassa oleviin jarjestelmiin.Hankinnalla perustetaan puitejarjestely, johon valitaan kaksi (2) sopimuskumppania toimittamaan Ylelle tassa tarjouspyynnossa ja sen liitteissa kuvattuja ja niita vastaavia tuotteita.Tavoitteena on, etta sopimus tulee voimaan helmi-maaliskuussa 2021.
