Situee au numero 7 de la rue de la Krutenau a Strasbourg, la manufacture des tabacs est fermee depuis 2010, et l'Etat a acquis en octobre 2018 les volumes necessaires a la realisation du projet G2EI. Le site fait l'objet d'un projet global en prevoyant la creation d'un ecosysteme innovant et creatif centre sur la jeunesse. L'objectif est d'accueillir a terme un peu plus de 1000 etudiants, 130 chercheurs et une cinquantaine de personnels administratifs dans des locaux adaptes totalisant environ 9 650 m2 SDO. Il est prevu une surface d'environ 9 000 m2 SDO en rehabilitation, et environ 600 m2 SU en construction en extension avec la halle technologique.Awards
