Neubau, Abriss und Modernisierung erfolgen schrittweise. Im Rahmen des Umbaus ist ein Weiterbetrieb von Bestandsgebauden sicherzustellen. Die Bestandsgebaude am Martin-Luther-King-Platz 6 mit einer Gesamtflache von rund 40 000 m2 BGF beinhalten verschiedene Nutzungen, im Wesentlichen den Fachbereich Chemie, daruber hinaus Horsale, Bibliotheken sowie Buro- und Unterrichtsraume der Universitat Hamburg. Die Gebaude wurden in den 1960er und 1970er Jahren errichtet. Es sind Ertuchtigungen des Brandschutzes erforderlich, die sowohl hochbauliche als auch anlagentechnische Massnahmen umfassen. Vorrangiges Schutzziel ist der Personenschutz. Die Ertuchtigungen konnen auch mit einer Neukonzeption des Brandschutzes und einem anschliessenden Genehmigungsverfahren verbunden sein.Awards
