The program supports the national agency for the civil status registration with the elaboration and realization of a masterplan to digitalize the system. The masterplan has been elaborated and validated in 2018 and is a comprehensive plan to informatize and link the national structures responsible for the civil registration, ID documentation and statistics. As one of the conditions to begin the implementation of the masterplan, a study is planned to make an inventory of all 374 civil registration centers in Cameroon. The study concerns the inventory of the centers concerning infrastructure, functioning, personnel and accessibility. The study should identify mayor gaps and opportunities, concerning the functioning of the centers in general and specifically concerning the future informatization of the centers.Awards
