In den Flachennutzungsplan ist ein Landschaftskonzept zu integrieren, dass den landschaftlichen Besonderheiten des Plangebiets im notwendigen Umfang Rechnung tragt.Die Gemeinde Markt Grassau liegt im landlichen Raum und gliedert sich in drei Ortsteile: Grassau, Rottau und Mietenkam. Die Ortsteile Rottau und Mietenkam haben jeweils eine alpenvorlandliche dorfliche Siedlungsstruktur, wahrend der Hauptort Grassau einen historischen Kern und eine Industriewohnsiedlung im Osten aufweist.Der Markt Grassau hat insgesamt ca. 7.300 Einwohner. Von diesen wohnen 5.300 im Ortsteil Grassau, 1.100 im Ortsteil Rottau und 900 im Ortsteil Mietenkam.Awards
