Die Stadt Dresden beabsichtigt im Zuge der geplanten Baumassnahme, das Hauptgebaude vom Typ Dresden zu sanieren. Das bestehende Nebengebaude wird abgerissen (separate Beauftragung durch AG) und durch einen Neubau ersetzt. Der Schulstandort soll zu einem 5-zugigen Gymnasium fur ca. 1120 Schulern und 60 Lehrerinnen und 30 Lehrern ausgebaut werden. In diesem Zusammenhang steht die Umsetzung der Anforderungen an die Barrierefreiheit und den Brandschutz. Wahrend der gesamten Massnahme soll der Schulbetrieb ausgelagert werden.
