It is part of the Regional Programme 'Promotion of a Climate Friendly Electricity Market in the ECOWAS Region - Phase 2 (ProCEM2)' in support of the WAPP.This comprehensive programme is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and supports WAPP, the ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) and the ECOWAS Regional Electricity Regulatory Authority (ARREC) on several types of issues.
