Bei der Schule handelt es sich um ein Berufskolleg fur technische Berufe mit den Fachrichtungen bzw. Schwerpunkten Gestaltung, Technische Mediengestaltung, Technik mit Schwerpunkt Bau- und Holztechnik sowie aus dem Bereich Nahrung und Gastronomie. Die Schule bildet zurzeit etwa 4 000 Schulerinnen und Schuler in insgesamt 39 Ausbildungsberufen aus, in einigen der Ausbildungsberufe wie z. B. die Ausbildung zur Goldschmiedin oder zum Goldschmied, verfugt die Schule bundesweit uber ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal. Zu dem Gebaudekomplex (BGF= 22 395 m2, NF= 15 400 m2) gehoren das mehrgeschossige Hauptgebaude, bestehend aus mehreren unterschiedlich hohen, miteinander verbundenen Einzelgebauden sowie einer 2-Feld Turnhalle inklusive Hausmeisterbereich.Awards
