The project will improve the performance of the three Jordanian water utilities and of the Water Authority of Jordan in terms of water supply as well as wastewater treatment and reuse. It will endeavour to reduce the physical and administrative water losses in selected water supply areas and ensure safe operation of wastewater treatment plants in the project region in permanent compliance with chemical, biological and physical minimum standards.The project activities are divided into five fields of action / outputs. The scope of Lot 1 of this consultancy is part of Output 5 of the project, which has the objective to strengthen the technical and management capacities of Aqaba Water Company to implement the management contract for the Al-Karak governorate. The scope of Lot 2 of this consultancy is part of Output 4 of the project, which has the objective to improve the technical and administrative implementation of the management contract for the selected operating areas of the Miyahuna Water Company in Balqa.Awards
