Wegen Wasserverlusten durch Undichtigkeiten musste es bereits in der Badesaison 2020, unabhangig von der Corona-Pandemie, vorsorglich geschlossen bleiben. Mit punktuellen Sofortreparaturen lasst sich die dauerhafte Funktion nicht mehr sicherstellen, es bedarf einer vollstandigen Auskleidung des Betonbeckens mit Edelstahl. Technische Erfordernisse sind eine Vergrosserung des Schwallwasser-Behalters und eine Nivellierung des Beckenkopfes. Bei dem Freibad handelt es sich um ein Einbeckenbad mit einer Lange von 50 Metern inkl. zwei kleinere Abzweigungen, bzw. Unterteilungen. Die eine beinhaltet einen 3-Meter-Sprungturm, die andere einen Nichtschwimmerbereich.Die Sanitarraume sind seit Jahrzehnten kaum verandert, sie entsprechen weder den heutigen Komfort- und Hygieneanspruchen noch sind sie barrierefrei.Awards
