Der Gebaudekomplex besteht aus einem Altbau (Baujahr 1924) und dem Schulgebaude mit Pausenhalle und Turnhalle (Baujahr 1962). Die bestehende Bausubstanz weist zum Teil gravierende Mangel auf, weshalb die Gemeinde Altenkunstadt eine bauliche Ertuchtigung, besonders hinsichtlich energetischer Aspekte, plant. Gleichzeitig sollen gesetzlich geforderte Brandschutzsmassnahmen, sowie eine barrierefreie Erschliessung der Schul- und Lehrraume berucksichtigt werden. Im Zuge der Sanierung ist ebenso eine Neuanordnung der Funktionsbereiche, sowie eine Anpassung des Raumprogrammes auf die Belange einer Ganztagsschule anzupassen. So ist u. a. der Neubau einer Mensa vorgesehen. Die Generalsanierung muss bei laufendem Betrieb durchgefuhrt werden. Nach ersten Voruntersuchungen wird der Aufwand der Massnahme fur die Kostengruppen 300/400/500 auf ca. 6 150 000 EUR geschatzt.Awards
