Bauherr des Stadtbades Sud ist die Tochtergesellschaft der Stadtwerke Munster GmbH, die "Badermanagement Munster GmbH". Das Plangebiet liegt im sudlichen Teil des Stadtteils Mitte (Geistviertel) in Munster. Das Grundstuck Inselbogen 36 befindet sich unmittelbar gegenuber der zentralen Grunanlage der denkmalgeschutzten Wohnsiedlung Gruner Grund (Gartenstadt Habichtshohe/Gruner Grund, errichtet 1924-1931) und misst eine Grundstucksflache von 5.277 m2. Bei dem neu zu errichtenden Stadtbad Sud handelt es sich um ein Sportbad, welches uberwiegend fur den Schul- und Vereinssport vorgesehen ist, daneben aber auch der offentlichen Nutzung zuganglich ist. Das Sportbad umfasst ein Schwimmbecken mit funf Bahnen und Abmessungen von 12,5 m x 25 m, ein Nichtschwimmerbecken mit Abmessungen von 8 m x 12,5 m und einen Kleinkinderbereich mit einer Wasserflache von ca. 15 m2. Hinzu kommen die schwimmbadaffinen Nebenraume. Das Raumprogramm umfasst insgesamt eine Nutzflache von ca. 2.000 m2.Der kubische Baukorper mit einem Bruttorauminhalt von ca. 19.000 cbm auf einer EG-Grundabmessung von ca. 53 x 37 m wird eingeschossig errichtet und ist, bis auf einen kleinen Teilbereich im Nordosten, vollstandig unterkellert.Awards
